1 cup almond milk
3/4 cup Chai Addict
1/3 cup maple syrup (optional)
1/2 cup coconut sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
2 cups plain flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 egg (can be flax egg)
1/2 cup dark choc chips (vegan if preferred)
Heat the milk & Chai in a saucepan gently. (Add maple syrup if you’re using it) Let it cool.
Whisk together flour, cocoa, sugars, baking powder & cinnamon.
Combine together milk, oil, egg & vanilla extract. Whisk till combined and add to dry ingredients.
Fold in choc chips and ensure batter is mixed through nicely.
Divide batter evenly into muffin tins and bake for 25-30mins on 180degrees.
Wait for them to cool and frost with your favourite toppings ❤️
