Wow, we can’t believe this photo was taken 4.5 years ago at our very first photo shoot for Chai Addict. It’s also the very first recipe we ever made with Chai Addict so this holds a special place very close to our heart 💗

4 c oats
2 c nuts
1/4 c sesame seeds
1/4 c each, coconut oil, maple or coconut sugar syrup and pb
3/4 c chai addict
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 c each, pepitas and sunflower seeds
1/4 c each, goji berries and dates
Optional: buckinis, coconut flakes, cacao nibs, puffed millet
Preheat your oven at 175C. Combine oats, nuts & sesame in a bowl.
The Sauce: Heat coconut oil, sugar of choice and pb, Chai Addict and salt in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer, stir until combined then remove from heat. Pour sauce over the nuts and oats and mix well to combine.
Bake it: Spread evenly on a baking dish. Bake for 35 minutes, stirring occasionally until the grains and nuts are thoroughly toasted. Remove from the oven, stir and cool. Combine the remaining ingredients and mix well.
To serve: Enjoy as a snack, with yoghurt or with poached pears.
